Configuring Gmail with Outlook Express and Multiple Mail Clients

Gmail one of the Best Email service in the world offers its users pop access and imap for free unlike other players(competitors) who charge for it.... i am using google since 1.5 years which i configured it to mozilla thunderbird,outlook express,outlook and foxmail i have many email ids for different purpose such as blog and orkut communities and believe it not even a single spam in my inbox till now.... thanx to google spam filtering technology......

Outlook Express

1. Goto the Tools menu and select Accounts
2. Click the Add -> Mail button
3. Select "POP3" and click next
4. Fill in your name and e-mail address (myemail@gmail.com)
5. Fill in the blanks as seen below.
   
   
   

Fill in your Gmail screen name and your password.



Click Properties tab as shown in the below PIC



Incoming mail server (POP3): pop.gmail.com
Outgoing mail server (SMTP): smtp.gmail.com





Fill in the boxes as show in the PICs and note do not forget to click the check box my server requires authentication

Adsense Click Fraud Detection

Dont try to cheat google adsense.... :o many of them are getting banned from the Google AdSense program for click fraud activities.... when i started my blog a few days back i thought why shudnt i use adsense account which was silent for months..... though i clicked on my ads couple of times to check the report i feared after that after reading about click frauds on many forums about how intelligently google fight against Click Frauds, below are some of the information gathered after visiting some sites and forums..

How do google detect the click fraud?

If the AdSense click is originated from the same IP Address as the one used for accessing your AdSense account.... your Adsense account would be marked..... event though the home computer gets different ip address during each login and after each disconnection.... google has many other means of detecting the fraud such as cookies,click patterns such as frequencies of clicks whether it is clicked manually or by click bots.... even the smartest of click bots cannot escape Adsense fraud detection.... click throug rate (CTR) Your CTR may range from 0.5% to 10%, but if it exceeds a certain point (probably around 10%), you will be in the watch list of click fraud team....

And there are other points to remember to avoid cancellation of the adsense account images and statements like "click this "and "support us" near the google ads will result in termination of account. how ever words "refferal links" and " sponesered links" are allowed.

Do not be caught in the Google click fraud. Be aware and be wary.
